Precision Trading® is a superior trade order management solution for investment management firms that links traders with portfolio managers, executing brokers, compliance officers and back-office staff in real-time, resulting in paperless and error-free trading. Precision consists of two modules designed to specifically meet the needs of portfolio managers and traders.

Precision Manager provides portfolio managers with the necessary tools to monitor, evaluate and manage the order generation for their portfolios. From real-time portfolio holdings and summaries - to order and execution activity, Precision Manager includes a full range of trade generation capabilities, including pre-allocation of shares across portfolios and block trading. Additionally, trades can be generated through a variety of standard portfolio modeling tools.

A superior pre-and post-trade compliance module is built into the system and includes sectors, industries, and securities percentage constraints. Asset class related constraints are also accommodated, including portfolio partitioning by asset types. In addition, groups of compliance rules are all defined, providing for ease of use. A complete audit trail of all compliance activity is also provided, allowing compliance officers a detailed, up-to-the-minute management overview of compliance standing across the firm.

Precision Trader was built by traders for traders. An extremely user-friendly interface allows all order/trade activity to be tracked in customizable blotters. Precision utilizes the FIX protocol to allow traders to route their equity orders electronically to FIX compliant Brokers and electronic sources of liquidity. The onscreen blotter allows a trader to consolidate tickets and allocate executions easily. Precision handles multiple security types (including fixed income) and has multi-currency capabilities. Tickets are generated, stored and sent electronically to all appropriate parties. Precision also handles Deals (IPOs) and completely automates directed brokerage and step-out scenarios. The system also has a complete range of commission reports.
